We offer Seafarer medicals in association with the Irish Department of Transport, which are a legal requirement for many roles in the maritime industry, whether on commercial vessels, ferries, offshore installations, fishing boats or cruise ships.

 

A typical Seafarer Medical will include:

• A review of your medical history

• Height, weight and BMI

• Vision and hearing tests

• Urinalysis (including diabetes screen)

• General physical examination by a doctor

 

Additional tests or documentation may be required depending on job role or destination (e.g. ECG, bloods).
