Keogh Practice Easy Payment Options
The Keogh Practice has a number of payment schemes for individuals and families who are not eligible for either a Doctor Visit or full GMS Medical Card. These include the following:
Weekly direct debit payment scheme:
This scheme allows members to pay a weekly direct debit scheme of €4.50 per adult and €3.00 per child (this discounted child rate only applies when a full paying adult in the same family is a scheme member) and entitled them to unlimited visits for routine general practitioner services. Members also benefit however from discounted rates on services such as 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, ECGs and audiograms. The direct debit scheme does not however cover members for additional services such as travel vaccinations, chronic leg ulcer dressings, mirena coil and/or implanon insertion or removal.
Private family scheme with co-payment:
This scheme allows members to pay a one-off annual membership payment. Members then pay €10 for each consultation with either the nurse or doctor. Members also benefit from discounted rates on services such as 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, ECGs and audiograms. The scheme does not however cover members for additional services such as travel vaccinations, chronic leg ulcer dressings, mirena coil and/or implanon insertion or removal.
